At Tanger Med Diving Center, we strive to provide our customers with exceptional diving experiences and top-notch services. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we aim to be as accommodating as possible with regard to cancellations, refunds, and returns. Please review the following policy to understand how refunds and returns are handled.

1. Cancellations and Refunds

Dive Courses and Excursions

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more before the scheduled date: Full refund will be issued.
  • Cancellations made 7 to 13 days before the scheduled date: 50% refund will be issued.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled date: No refund will be issued unless due to medical reasons (documentation required).

Weather-related Cancellations

In the event of inclement weather or unsafe conditions at sea, the dive center may cancel or reschedule your trip. If cancellation is made by Tanger Med Diving Center, you will be given the option to reschedule your booking or receive a full refund.

No-shows

Customers who do not show up for their scheduled dive without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.

2. Equipment Returns and Exchanges

If you have purchased any diving equipment from Tanger Med Diving Center, the following return and exchange policies apply:

Return Conditions

  • Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
  • Items must be unused and in their original packaging.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
  • Refunds will be processed through the original payment method.

Exchanges

  • If the purchased item is defective or damaged, it may be exchanged for the same item or a similar one of equal value.
  • Exchanges must be made within 30 days of purchase.

Non-returnable Items

  • Customized or personalized gear.
  • Items on clearance or sale are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

3. Refund Process

Once your return or cancellation is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 7 business days.
  • Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
